Zimbabwe defeated Pakistan by one run in the T20 World Cup. Following this result, there has been a slew of memes on social media. The memes are majorly surrounding Pak Bean or the fake Mr Bean. Here, in this article, we take a look at hilarious memes about the Fake Mr Bean after Pakistan vs Zimbabwe match.
Fake Mr Bean intensifies rivalry between Pakistan and Zimbabwe
It all goes back to 2016 when a fake Mr Bean from Pakistan came to attend a few shows in Zimbabwe. The Mr Bean resembled Rowan Atkinson and was a popular figure. So much so that he was even given police protection in Zimbabwe. So, in a hilarious tweet, a Zimbabwe citizen commented that his team would take revenge on Pakistan for sending a fake Bean to their nation. Since then, there has been plenty of news about the incident. It is extremely funny and some tags such as the ‘Bean Derby’ and ‘Bean Rivalry’ have also come into the picture.
While this is on one side, it was disappointing for Pakistan to lose against Zimbabwe by just one run. Chasing a modest score, and having some world-class batters, it was expected to be an easy chase for the Pakistanis. However, most batters, including Babar Azam had a bad day at the office. Considering they lost the first game against India, Pakistan needed a win to stay in the competition. With them losing against Zimbabwe, the chances have reduced for them to enter the semi-finals. It now needs to be seen how they would perform in the coming games.
